Protect Performance. Preserve Efficiency

A passivhaus building minimises heat loss, relying on airtight, well-insulated, and undamaged building envelopes. Protectapeel Passivhaus sealant supports these standards by creating airtight layers during construction, helping preserve the integrity of energy-efficient buildings in both new builds and refurbishments.

Protectapeel seals gaps and cracks within the building envelope to prevent air leakage and improve thermal performance, particularly around windows, doors and critical junctions. Applied easily with an airless spray gun, it delivers precise, clean sealing and a smooth, professional finish across a wide range of substrates.

Once cured, Protectapeel forms a durable yet flexible seal that maintains airtightness despite building movement and temperature changes. By reducing air infiltration, it cuts energy loss, lowers heating and cooling costs, and supports long-term sustainability and compliance with energy-efficient building standards.

How to cover countertops during construction?2026-04-08T12:28:40+00:00

Protectapeel offers a simple solution for protecting countertops during construction. It can be applied directly without the need for measuring, cutting, or taping. Simply spray it on, allow it to dry, and it will shield countertops from damage such as scratches, mortar, and paint overspray. Before application, you must always apply the Protectapeel product to a small test area to test the substrate’s suitability. You must ensure that all substrates are well covered. Allow the product to dry for 48 hours, and then check that the Protectapeel product will peel away from each substrate.

Can Protectapeel be removed after exposure to sunlight?2026-04-08T12:13:57+00:00

Yes, Protectapeel is UV-resistant and can be removed easily even after prolonged exposure to sunlight.

How is Protectapeel supplied?2026-04-08T12:19:09+00:00

Protectapeel is primarily supplied in 15-kilo containers. For larger projects, IBCs are also available.

Does Protectapeel require any special equipment to apply?2026-04-08T11:53:53+00:00

Protectapeel is applied using an airless spray gun. For optimal results, we recommend using the Graco 390. If needed, spray guns are also available for rent directly from us.
