Protectapeel is applied using an airless spray gun. For optimal results, we recommend using the Graco 390. If needed, spray guns are also available for rent directly from us.
The recommended application thickness for each Protectapeel product is detailed in the Technical Data Sheet. Applying the minimum thickness is essential for effective protection and easy removal.
Protectapeel can be applied to a variety of non-porous surfaces, including glass, windows, aluminium, stainless steel, and more, offering protection against scratches, paint, dust, and debris. Before application, you must always apply the Protectapeel product to a small test area to test the substrate’s suitability. You must ensure that all substrates are well covered. Allow the product to dry for 48 hours, and then check that the Protectapeel product will peel away from each substrate.
Protectapeel provides a peelable coating that protects glass from scratches, dirt, and damage during construction. It is easily applied using an airless spray gun, reducing labour requirements on-site. Once the project is complete, the coating can be effortlessly peeled away, leaving the glass clean and undamaged.
Yes, Protectapeel is specifically designed to endure harsh weather conditions, including UV rays, rain, and wind, making it ideal for outdoor use. Additionally, Protectapeel Anti-Rust has undergone 1,440 hours of salt spray testing and achieved a C5 High durability rating in compliance with EN ISO 12944-6 and EN ISO 9227 standards.
