New Breathtaking Yin & Yang Inspired Building in Bangkok

Updated: Jul 19, 2021

The newly built Vanissa Building in the central business district of Bangkok consists of two towers inspired by the concept of Yin and Yang.

The two towers differ in height, tower A being 12 storeys and tower B 22 storeys. Both towers contain high-quality office and retail spaces. Tower A also offers a swimming pool and gym facilities.

The exterior façade is clad with a high-performance glass curtain wall. The glass features diagonal patterns to highlight the several layers of the building.

Protectapeel® was used during construction to protect the glass curtain wall. Spray guns were used to apply directly to the glass, which then created a skin-tight film during the build. The film did not lose adhesion, allowing the build to continue with no delays.

The environmentally friendly coating was removed by hand peeling. Taking any construction debris with it, leaving the glass completely undamaged.
