Protectapeel protective coating has been used on the decommissioned Kodak factory redevelopment project.
Home to The Kodak factory for 125 years, the new mixed-use development led by Harrow council, will provide up to 2,000 residential homes, offices, restaurants and shops set around 20 acres of beautifully landscaped green space. The buildings will vary in height, ranging from 8 to 15 storeys with lower 2 storey buildings in between.
Protectapeel protective coating has been used to protect approximately 10,000m² windows
and frames internally and externally on the impressive redevelopment project. Due to be completed in 2025, the glass and frames will be protected throughout construction from potential damage such as scratching, mortar, weathering, paint and more.
When required for handover, the protective coating is easily removed by hand. The glass and frames will be clean and damage-free, allowing the project to be handed over without the need to repair or replace the surfaces beforehand.
